Leafy Greens

Leafy Greens (Ben Doran and Lisa Johnson) is an acoustic music and vocal duo from Madison who present traditional, Celtic and original songs and instrumental tunes from a variety of cultures, themes and settings.

Lisa sings and plays 12-string guitar, including some fine finger-picking. Ben is an accomplished hammered dulcimer player and sings harmonies as well. Each sings beautifully, whether leading or harmonizing, and can play melodies or chordal accompaniment on their respective instruments.

Both are longtime Wild Hog members, where we have watched them develop as songwriters and musicians. They can often be found in non-pandemic times playing at local farmers markets and other venues. Visit their website for CDs and other
