Welcome to the Wild Hog in the Woods Coffeehouse

Wild Hog Presents a Streamed Live Virtual Concert with

Leafy Greens

Lisa Johnson & Ben Doran

Friday, December 4, 2020 at 7:30pm CT

Chat with Lisa & Ben via after the concert, at 8:30pm

Leafy Greens is an acoustic music and vocal duo who present traditional, Celtic, and original songs and tunes from a variety of cultures, themes and settings. From Madison, Lisa Johnson and Ben Doran will be streaming live from Lisa's living room.

Lisa sings wonderful leads and harmonies on her own songs and covers, as she creatively plays guitar, including some fine finger-picking. Ben is an accomplished hammer dulcimer player and sings both leads and harmonies. Each sings beautifully, whether leading or harmonizing and each can play melodies or chordal accompaniment on their respective instruments.

Both are long time members of the Wild Hog where we have watched them develop as songwriters and musicians. Listen for an occasional harmony from Lisa's cats.

Show your enthusiasm for the performers and our efforts to bring folk music to you during Covid. We have suspended charging admission to the Coffeehouse's concerts, and are splitting your tips between the performer and the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center. So please tip generously to support the performer(s) and the Wil-Mar Center's services during these trying times.

via PayPal.

Wil-Mar is the neighborhood center where the Coffeehouse rents space during normal times. Wil-Mar continues to run it's social services and food bank, while losing income from the cancelled festivals that make up half of their annual budget. In support of keeping Wil-Mar in business serving those that depend on these services, the Coffeehouse is contributing half of the tips to Wil-Mar. So please donate generously to help us support, in addition to the peformer, Wil-Mar so they will be here when the pandemic comes to an end. Both Wil-Mar and the Coffeehouse are 501(c)3 charities. Some performers may opt to donate their half of the tips to Wil-Mar or an organization of their choosing.

If you experience poor or distorted sound on a smartphone:
Smartphones must mix the stereo signal to mono for the single built-in loudspeaker.
This could distort the audio for some or all songs. Listen using your earbuds or stereo headset for best stereo sound.

Thank you for listening

Tune in again next Friday for "Kelly Bleich"
