The Coffeehouse continues to be closed in support of stemming the spread of the Covid-19 virus. So we again looked into Phillup the Pig's video archive and found our recording of last year's concert on April 5, 2019. Ron Dennis and Jamie Poindexter have been recording several concerts the past year or so to build a historical record of folk music at the Coffeehosue. Not knowing the recordings would be useful in today's new normal of staying home, we are fortunate to have several recordings we can share with you. All of us at the Hog hope you enjoy almost 90 minutes of music from these three songwriters as they perform their music.

About This Concert:

Songwriters in the Round is a popular format at the Hog, providing a stage where two ro more singer/songwriters share songs they have written. Tonight's songwriters, all from Madison, will trade songs and display their distinctive musical talents. This concert was recorded April 5, 2019.

Rich Baumann can play fiddle, guitar and other instruments. He does a beautiful job on his own songs and traditional tunes.

Ali Jackson Both Ali Jackson, a young and talented songwriter reflects emotion and invokes images of memories in her songs.

John Duggleby Frequent Wild Hog performer John Duggleby writes and performs songs from many genres including folk, rock, country, world and “eclectic.”
