Welcome to the Wild Hog in the Woods Coffeehouse

Wild Hog Presents a Streamed Live Virtual Concert with

Aaron Nathans

Friday, January 22, 2021 at 7:30pm CT

Aaron was born in the mill town of Paterson, New Jersey, and grew up in Bexley, Ohio, but he honed his songwriting skills while he lived in Madison. Now living near Philadelphia, his mission continues to be to write songs about things nobody has written about before. He describes his songs as wild-mind bittersweet acoustic music. Since 2005, he has released four CDs.

His shows include humorous, meandering stories that will keep you every bit as captivated as the music itself -- beautiful guitar work, catchy melodies, and his sweet baritone voice and eye-popping vocal range. Aaron has opened for Lucy Kaplansky, Tracy Grammer, Vance Gilbert and other folk luminaries. He has written with Craig Bickhardt, Phil Henry and Michael Ronstadt. Aaron’s songwriting was honored by the Kerrville Folk Festival, which named him a New Folk Finalist in 2018 and 2011.

Show your enthusiasm for the performers and our efforts to bring folk music to you during Covid. We have suspended charging admission to the Coffeehouse's concerts, and are splitting your tips between the performer and the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center. So please tip generously to support the performer(s) and the Wil-Mar Center's services during these trying times.

Aaron will be donating his half to Wil-Mar tonight.

via PayPal.

Wil-Mar is the neighborhood center where the Coffeehouse rents during normal times. Wil-Mar continues to run it's social services and food bank, while losing income from the cancelled festivals that make up half of their annual budget. In support of keeping Wil-Mar in business serving those that depend on these services, the Coffeehouse is continuing to pay our rent. So please donate generously to help us support Wil-Mar so they will be here when the pandemic comes to an end. Both Wil-Mar and the Coffeehouse are 501(c)3 charities.

If you experience poor or distorted sound on a smartphone:
Smartphones must mix the stereo signal to mono for the single built-in loudspeaker.
This could distort the audio for some or all songs. Listen using your earbuds or stereo headset for best stereo sound.

Thank you for listening

Tune in again next Friday for "Stephen Lee Rich"
