EddieAshe

Eddie Ashe is a singer-songwriter from the suburbs of Chicago, and is excited to bring his show out on the road. His acoustically driven sound can be described as "stripped down folk", featuring a deep baritone voice with a surprising range. To date, Eddie has recorded and released twenty songs across several singles and short albums, including "Bread and Butter" (2023) and "Known to Ghost" (2024). His music blends Chicago and Nashville sounds while maintaining a vintage feel. Eddie will be joined by his friend and violin virtuoso, Will Greenlee.

MikeMcDougal

For Mike McDougal, performing is a way of life. The Arkansas-based folksinger and songwriter has been playing music publicly for more than 50 years. Mike grew up in Chicago and began playing the cello at the age of ten. He switched to guitar in 1964, when the Beatles captured the world's imagination. He lived in Madison for a while working at the UW and blessed the Hog stage solo and with The Buzzards. Cutting his teeth on the Chicago folk scene of the 1970's alongside the likes of Steve Goodman and John Prine, McDougal has a repertoire from folk to jazz and country, including original songs to make you smile or shed a rear.

Traditional and contemporary holiday music. The holidays are a mixed bag and so is the Bittersweet Christmas Band. From Thanksgiving through December 25, traditional artists Phil Cooper and Kate Early join forces with singers and songwriters Patty Peace and Susan Urban for a show that presents every possible perspective on on the holiday season from the reverent to the ridiculous. Two- and four-part harmonies and masterful instrumentation on guitar, banjo, mountain dulcimer, hand drum and other percussion instruments make the Bittersweet Christmas Band an act not to be missed.
